I have been unable to get any meaningful help from Parallels and searching the web has not been productive so far.

Entering my 10 license into 11 could only work if the version of Windows 11 on my VM is also Home. My Windows 10 license is for the Home edition. What it does not explain is 1) what version of Windows 11 will be installed on your computer after you exit Windows Insider and 2) how do you verify that you were an owner of Windows 10 so that you will get Windows 11 at no charge. For example, I had seen the article you just sent me.

I followed the Parallels instructions to install a prerelease version of Windows 11. I checked my other apps but neglected to check deeper into Parallels and Windows. I fault myself for not doing sufficient research before buying the Mac M1. This continues to be a frustrating journey. It may in fact work once installed but I can't find out because it will not download.

And, to be clear, the problem is that it will not download. So far, the only app I cannot get to work in this Windows 11 environment is Norton. I have followed those instructions and so far everything works, including newer apps like Microsoft 365 and some very old legacy apps dating back 10 years.

Parallels provides instructions on how to load and run Windows 11 on Parallels 17 on an M1 Mac. Windows 10 will not install on Parallels 17, only Windows 11 will. White boxes will start appearing over the window content as you work and move the window until you can't use them at all. That would almost be bearable, but some applications will not refresh their windows properly. In some places, it is so tiny you can't read or click on it and in others is so big it won't fit. For one, the size of fonts throughout the OS and application are very inconsistent. Only on my Retina MacBook Pro (11,3) do I have display issues with Windows 10.
